CIO IT Priority Survey 2026: Have Your Say
What will define the CIO agenda in 2026?
Where will organisations invest, what risks will demand greater attention, and which technologies will move from experimentation to enterprise-wide adoption?
The CIO IT Priority Survey 2026, an annual research initiative by the CIO Association, seeks to capture the perspectives of CIOs and senior technology leaders from across industries. The survey will explore the priorities, investments and challenges shaping enterprise technology in the year ahead.
It will cover areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data and analytics, digital transformation, enterprise applications, infrastructure modernisation, talent and skills, data privacy, governance, sustainability and business innovation. It will also examine how CIOs are responding to regulatory change, managing technology risk, demonstrating business value and preparing their organisations for continued disruption.
The findings will be consolidated into the CIO IT Priority Report 2026, providing a valuable, data-led view of the direction in which enterprise technology is moving. CIOs will be able to use the report to benchmark their priorities against peers, identify emerging trends and capability gaps, support technology planning and strengthen conversations with boards and business leadership.
The insights will also help shape CIO Association’s research agenda, roundtables, webinars, chapter discussions and leadership forums during the year.
By participating, CIOs will not only share their organisation’s priorities but also contribute to a collective industry perspective on the future of technology leadership.
Share your priorities.
Benchmark your journey.
Help shape the CIO agenda for 2026.
